SPRING 2024 REGISTRATION

Tryout and LAND Training

Key dates:

Jan 2 to Jan 27: Tryouts and land training
Jan 27: announcement of team selection
Jan 28 to Feb 16: Team Land training

 

Location:

Schedule:

Freshman/Novice: 5x per week 
Tuesday / Wednesday: 5:15 PM - 7:15 PM
Friday: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Saturday / Sunday: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
JV/Varsity: 6x per week 
Monday to Thursday: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Saturday / Sunday: 7:00 AM - 9:15 AM
 
During the month of January, new rowers will receive instruction and feedback from the coaches on how to row.  The frequency of practices helps the rowers get to know future teammates and build strength and stamina and it gives the coaches an opportunity to assess the athletes on fitness, potential, and willingness to accept feedback.  
 

WATER PRACTICE and RACING SEASON

Feb 20 to May 31, 2024
JUNE 4 to 8, 2024: US Rowing Nations

Tuesday to Friday: 

ALL: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Saturday / Sunday:
JV/Varsity: 6:30 AM - 8:30 am
Freshman/Novice: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
 
Bus will be provided on weekdays.
 
*All boats practice/race through Mid-Atlantics; limited boats practice/race through Youth Nationals (see Important Dates calendar)

 

Cost

$2,300.00 total ($200 + $2,100 in 5 payments)

PAYMENT PLAN:

$200.00 non-refundable registration and January training fee to be collected via Venmo or Check. If a student is selected for the Crew Team, then the remaining $2,100 in fees may be paid in full, or in four (4) installments of $525.00 each. The $525 installment payments are due January 30, March 5, April 7, and May 5, 2024 via Venmo or Check (see payment details).  Please make note of these due dates.

This is the link to the Conestoga Athletic page on the TESD website that has the link to the PIAA forms that must be filled out before Dec 22 and submitted to the athletic office, with a doctor signature.
